E-Books Killed the Video Star?
There’s been quite a lot of buzz about our new Vook with Blair Underwood, From Cape Town with Love. We’re thrilled that Blair’s excited about the project and talks about his Vook everywhere, and it’s been really exciting to interact with Blair’s fans all over the Web.
In fact, it’s almost hard to keep track of all the great outlets that have covered Blair’s Vook, but this AP story really caught my eye.
The journalist, John Carucci, wrote a story that was witty, charming and very perceptive. The headline, “Blair Underwood Aspires to Book Stardom,” made me chuckle, but it also made me think.
Not only do Vooks add a dimension to books, but they’re a new medium for existing and aspiring artists to express their vision.
If you have the urge to express your vision, email me (rachel@vook.com) your favorite part of From Cape Town with Love and you’ll be entered in a contest to guest blog for Vook. I’ll be accepting entries until Friday, June 11th, and I promise: I’m gonna make you a star…
