We've been surveying our authors to learn what features will help them sell more eBooks. That's our goal: Help our authors sell more eBooks on Vook.   

Almost every author asks for 'promo codes' — the ability to give out free copies of their eBooks. Promo codes can help authors gift eBooks, give reviewers and reporters free access, reward loyal readers, hold promotional lotteries, etc.

Promo codes can also help you make bulk sales as an author. You could offer an organization 1,000 copies of the Vook eReader version of your eBook at a reduced price. Have the company pay you up front and ask us at Vook for 1,000 promo codes. Presto: you've sold your eBook in bulk.

Speakers sell eBooks out of the back of their cars, sometimes they sell hundreds of copies to organizations in one swoop. It's been hard to do this with eBooks: You can't buy promo codes or free copies from the major marketplaces, and if you set your eBook to free in the eTailers, you have to make it free for everyone.

This ability to offer promo codes will allow savvy authors to make money and build attention for their books using the Vook eReader.
