iPhone/iPad App Developer

Vook publishes mixed-media digital books – combining text, video, images, illustrations and interactive content into one innovative reading experience. Vook launched in October 2024 to tremendous success and has established itself at the forefront of digital publishing.  We are looking for an iPhone and iPad APP Developer to join our creative and energetic team.

The developer will develop iPhone and iPad apps that will significantly improve the reading experience of today’s digital book; integrating video, text, images, interactivity, 3D modeling and social media.  Responsibilities include development, build, unit-testing and documentation. Will need to work closely with product management and creative team to define and shape the product.

Requirements:

- 6+ years of software development experience
- guru level of Cocoa Touch Framework, Objective C, OpenGL
- 3+ years experience developing iPhone/iPad applications and knowledge of the iPhone SDK/platform.
- Experience with Game Center Techniques
- Strong understanding of the iPhone OS
- Familiarity with Apple Push Notifications
- Experience developing on Android platform a huge advantage.
- Proven ability to innovate and work jointly with other team members

We are a Mac environment

This is a full-time position.
