Illustrator / Animator – Vook
Vook is a publisher of mixed-media digital books – combining text, video, images, illustrations and interactive content into one innovative reading experience. Vook launched in October 2024 to tremendous success and has established itself at the forefront of digital publishing.
The Illustrator / Animator will help establish creative direction for Vook’s enhanced digital book applications by creating and executing animations and illustrations for a wide variety of content and overseeing the production and integration into Vook applications of additional illustrations from outside sources.

What You’ll Do:
* Create original illustrations and work with existing image assets for integration into Vook’s web and mobile apps (iPhone and iPad).
* Create 2D and 3D art and animation within the Vooks.
* Collaborate closely with Vook’s creative and design team and engineers to optimize artwork for production of vook apps.
* Develop large quantities of high quality artwork under tight deadlines.
* Help establish creative vision for Vook’s enhanced digital book applications.
* Be informed on newest technologies in art and animation and how to adapt them to Vook content.
What We’re Looking For:
* Undergraduate degree from a recognized institution. Focus on new media studies preferred or relevant work experience.
* Have had previous experience in designing functional UI/UX
* You know Final Cut Pro and After Effects, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Javascript, PHP,
* Meticulous attention to detail, able to work under tight deadlines. You thrive under pressure!
* Highly organized and a self-starter ability to set priorities and work independently in a fast paced environment
We are a Mac environment.
This is a full-time position.
