The year is 3643 B.C.E: a time of social upheaval and moral chaos. Inanna, a passionate and beautiful girl, with psychic powers and a strong connection to nature, is a member of a nomadic tribe that has spent years violently infiltrating the peace-loving, long-standing cities of Mesopatamia. When her brother executes her sister for adultery, Inanna runs away from her family and her people in search of a community where women fight and rule, and where sex and love are worshipped, not forbidden. In the City of Dove her powers lead her to the son of the queen, and she realizes she is destined to rule this city. She must choose between her adopted family and the family she left behind as her beloved city steals for battle against the nomads of Inanna’s past.
