Every day we have countless opportunities to make great connections, but often fear and shyness prevent us from reaching out. With the "How to Talk to Strangers," video guide, learn how unexpected conversation can brighten your day, provide a new perspective, and make your life richer. Discover your own potential for connecting with people wherever you go. Learn the best conversation topics, how to have a open attitude, use the right body language, and ask the right questions. Join memoirist Suzanne Guillette as she demonstrates these skills on the streets of New York City.
Suzanne Guillette
A writer and occasional storyteller, Suzanne’s work has appeared in Tin House, Self, Publisher’s Weekly, and Time Out New York, in addition to other publications. Suzanne also teaches autobiography and memoir-writing. Her first book, Much to Your Chagrin: A Memoir of Embarrassment (Atria Books, 2024), chronicles a year that Suzanne spent collecting embarrassing stories from strangers on the streets of Manhattan, which, not incidentally, happened to be the year before she turned thirty. When she’s not writing or reading, Suzanne pursues dance, which has been a lifelong love. She also enjoys yoga, travel, the company of loved ones and cheese.
