Quick Tip: Styling Quotes in Your eBook
by Jeffrey Yozwiak on
“If you use quotes in your eBook, style them to visually set them apart from the rest of your text.”
Quotes (or blockquotes) are a great way to set apart a large chunk of text. Maybe you have a long quote from a speaker (if you're making a nonfiction eBook), or maybe you have an epistle that needs some extra padding around the side (if you're working on a fiction eBook). Either way, quotes are for you.
1. Highlight the text you want to make into a quote.
2. Press the quote button to indent.

3. Style the quote in Style editor under Text styles > Quotes.
Note: You can remove the quote by highlighting it and pressing the quote button.
Quotes are just like Tip Boxes in that they stand out on the eBook page. With quotes, you can change:
- Color
- Font
- Spacing around the quote
- Borders above and below
